The all-time record for single-day fundraising during the primary season is $2.3 million. Ron Paul has raised over $1.7 million today as of this writing. Gee, you think he’ll beat it?

UPDATE: Apparently Mitt Romney raised $3.1 million on one day in January. But now (nearly 3:00 Eastern) Ron Paul has raised $2.1 million.
