Dr. Witherspoon will be holding a series of press conferences around the state this week to announce his candidacy.

Tuesday Nov.27th :

Wednesday Nov.28th:

4:15pm – The Alley (Behind the Municipal Building), Aiken, SC

Dr. Witherspoon remarked: “For many, many years I have helped fellow Republicans get elected to office and have helped build our Republican Party. Within the last few years, Senator Lindsey Graham has been on the wrong side of some key issues and has sided with the Democrats in Washington as well as the ‘Beltway Insiders’. Senator Graham has knowingly supported issues that are against the will of South Carolinians.”

“Over the last few weeks I have received a groundswell of encouragement from friends and fellow Republicans to challenge the Senator in the Primary. After careful consideration and prayer, I have decided that it is time for me to move forward with an official announcement.”

It is good to know that now we will have a person with common sense running for the US Senate who will represent the interests of the CITIZENS and VOTERS of South Carolina. Praise be to God.

Dr. Witherspoon has been to almost every County meeting or convention in the State during his time as National Committeeman. He has also always been available for advise and help. Best of luck to a wonderful Republican!

The two most important republicans in SC are Mark Sanford and Lindsey Graham. It has nothing to do with politics, but that they have both sold SC’s interest and influence to the highest bidder. Both have raised obscene amounts of money from the rich and special interests groups …mostly from out of state people that could care less about the average South Carolinian.

Buddy will have to work hard, but when the average, thinking republican sees who has given moeny to these two, and how much…I believe the tide will turn. Especially as the secret and unregulated money from Sanford’s “nonprofits” becomes public.

As a Democrat I appreciate Lindsey Graham’s ability to show bipartisan support for important issues. Ultimately it is the only way to achieve progress.

Lindsay sold out. Just look at his campaign forms.
He has masters and they are out of state special interest.

Vote for someone, anyone, that will vote as Carolinians want him too!

I voted for him once, but never again. I gave him money, but never again.

Screw Graham…he can move to DC where all his special buddies live…

What does CCC stand for and how many ads will 4 million bucks buy that ties Witherspoon to those nutjobs. Infamous becomes famous 6 months after the election.

Grahams bet is that the public will not care about the obscene amount of money he raises, and spends…nor where it came from.

SC Republican primary voters do care. Lets hope the money does not overhelm the voters…

Honor and conviction over money…that must be Buddy’s gamble.

    Good luck Buddy.

Right now I am supporting Tim Carnes. Obviously, Lindsey went to Washington and forgot the
folks back home. We need someone who represents the people of South Carolina.

THANK YOU FOR STEPPING FORWARD AND GIVING US A CHOICE. I WILL NEVER VOTE FOR LINDSEY GRAHAM AGAIN. I’LL BET STROM THURMOND IS ROLLING OVER IN HIS GRAVE. GRAHAM HAS LOST TOUCH WITH THE CITIZENS OF SOUTH CAROLINA ON THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION ISSUE AND HAS TIPTOED BEHIND JOHN McCAIN FOR A VP CUE. THE DC CROWD IS SO ARROGANT. PEOPLE LIKE THEM ARE SELLING OUT AMERICA’S SOVEREIGNTY. PLEASE DR. WITHERSPOON COME FORWARD QUICKLY WITH YOUR PLATFORM. I WILL WORK FOR YOUR SUCCESS.

Hey, why should Juan McAmnesty tap Lindsey GrahAMNESTY as his running mate? Wh not just give the nod to an ILLEGAL ALIEN, and cut out the Middle Man? But, seriously, that GOP ticket would be a great idea - it gets TWO RINO’s out of the US Senate at the same time! The American public has had it with El Presidente Jorge Boosh’s nation-building scheme in that Asian Hell-Hole, and McAmensty’s up to his armpits in it! He’ll sink like a stone and take GrahAMNESTY with him! It’s entirely too bad that the RNC has to learn from its mistakes the hard way but the Big Money Boys at the RNC are NOT the Party - We, the People, are. If the RNC won’t kick RINO’s out, then it’s time to form a new, RINO-free conservative party.
