JOSHUA GROSS JOINS STARBOARD COMMUNICATIONS

Thompson Campaign Veteran Joins Lexington Political Firm

LEXINGTON, SC – Starboard Communications today announced that Joshua Gross had joined its growing staff of political project management professionals.

“We are very pleased that Joshua has joined our staff,” said Starboard President Walter Whetsell.  “Joshua brings an experienced hand and a fresh perspective to our firm, and he will play a vital role in the upcoming primary election cycle.  We are excited to have him on board.”

Joshua Gross previously served as the South Carolina Communications Director for the Fred Thompson presidential campaign.  Prior to that, he served a two year stint as the first Executive Director of the South Carolina Club for Growth.  He has also been a frequent guest political commentator on the Andy Thomas and Charles Campbell talk shows in the Columbia and Charleston markets.

Before coming to South Carolina, Joshua served as the Communications Director for a California based campaign to save the Mount Soledad Cross, a 29 foot veterans’ memorial atop Mount Soledad in San Diego, California.  He has also worked previously on the legislative staff of Congressman Duncan Hunter.
