ACTION ALERT!

 

As many of you know, I have asked the General Assembly to consider completely abolishing parole and creating alternative sentencing courts for appropriate youthful and first time offenders.

Important action will be taken tomorrow at 2pm on this legislation and the committee members need to hear from YOU right away!

Please take a minute to contact the legislators below and ask them to support the ABOLISH PAROLE BILL – H 4309

    Thank You so much for keeping South Carolina Citizens informed on the State Government News and actions on Bills & Laws now pending before the House and Senate.

    In today’s edition of your email news letter, I can not fully support the ideas on the Utility Police and the No Parole Acts as have been submitted for passage into Laws to Governor Mark Sanford. To write my reasons for this would take up quite amount of space and time.

    In the future, what would you suggest to be the best manner for the Citizens of South Carolina to express our views, comments, and opinions on articles that appear in your News Letter? I am hoping to hear from you again soon on my question. Until then, please take care and remain safe in all you do.
