BLAIR JENNINGS UNVEILS “RACHEL” AD
Victim’s Mother Asks Voters to Choose Jennings for Solicitor
(Mt. Pleasant, SC) – Blair Jennings, Republican candidate for Solicitor, today unveiled his new campaign ad titled “Rachel.” The ad focuses on the Christmastime murder of 18-year-old Rachel Sottile. Blair Jennings prosecuted the case as Deputy Solicitor, convicting Derrick Grant of the murder and sentencing him to life without parole.
In the ad, Rachel’s mother, Terry Sottile, explains Blair’s devotion to her family and seeing Grant put behind bars for the rest of his life:
“ The most horrible horrific thing I think a parent can ever go through is to lose a child.
Blair was immediately there from the beginning. It wasn’t just about his job. It was about taking care of us and getting justice for Rachel. I just feel like he went the extra mile. He cared more than I ever expected. She was our little girl to him.”
