VIC RAWL TO FILE FOR US SENATE PRIMARY ON FRIDAY, MARCH 26

Charleston, SC - Vic Rawl will file to run for the Democratic nomination to challenge Jim DeMint for US Senate seat on Friday, March 26, at 10:30 am at the Democratic Party Headquarters at 1529 Hampton St., Suite 200 in Columbia.

The Rawl for US Senate campaign committee will present the State Democratic Party with the filing fee and required documents.  Rawl will make a short statement to the press and public and answer questions.

Vic is asking college students from across the state to join him at Headquarters for his announcement.

Rawl is a former Judge, four term state legislator, prosecutor and military officer.  He is currently a member of Charleston County Council and serves as a private mediator and arbitrator.
