Boiling Springs Tea Party Endorses Gary Burgess for Superintendent of Education
Boiling Springs, SC—Gary L. Burgess, Sr. has received the Boiling Springs Tea Party endorsement for state Superintendent of Education. The endorsement recognizes Burgess’ outstanding judgment, hands-on experience, Christian conservative values, understanding that the state’s school system, as presently administered, is broken, and parental choice regarding their child’s learning environment.
Boiling Springs Tea Party’s Maria Brady said, “Our search for a state superintendent of education candidate with conservative Christian values led us to Gary Burgess because he embodies the ideals of our Founding Fathers. We’re excited to endorse him because he is clearly an experienced candidate Tea Party patriots can trust to work toward ending the deeply entrenched bureaucratic morass of the current system. His outstanding record as superintendent in Anderson County School District 4 is proof of his dedication to putting children’s learning as top priority.”
The announcement follows weeks of vetting all candidates for state offices by the Boiling Springs Tea Party, which is finalizing other endorsements prior to the state Primary Election on June 8. Others will be forthcoming in the next few days.
