Gov. Sanford to Welcome Adidas Company at Grand Opening

Columbia, S.C. – May 18, 2010 – Governor Mark Sanford will join state and local leaders tomorrow at the Grand Opening of Adidas Company’s new consolidated distribution center and customer service facility in the Upstate. In 2007, Adidas broke ground on this facility, its largest distribution center nationwide, and announced 1,200 new jobs and a $150 million capital investment. The Grand Opening will take place tomorrow morning (Wednesday, May 19) at 11:00 a.m. in Spartanburg (670 Falling Creek Road).
