Gov. Sanford to Welcome Horsehead Corporation to S.C.

Columbia, S.C. – August 25, 2010 – Gov. Mark Sanford will join economic development officials and company executives tomorrow (Wednesday, August 25) to celebrate Horsehead Corporation’s grand opening and ribbon-cutting of its new facility in Barnwell. Horsehead is the world’s largest producer of zinc from recycled sources, and maintains facilities in five other states. The announcement will take place at 11:00 a.m. at the SC Advanced Technology Park in Barnwell (941 Technology Drive).
