ETV Presents Comprehensive Coverage of SC Primary Election Results Tuesday, June 10 at 7 p.m.

Columbia, SC…On Tuesday, June 10, ETV presents comprehensive coverage of South Carolina’s Primary Election results, providing up-to-the-minute voting returns, as well as analysis from some of the Palmetto State’s top political consultants. With statewide coverage on television, radio and the Web, The Big Picture: Primary Election 2008 begins just as the polls close.

Starting at 7 p.m., the latest election results will scroll continuously at the bottom of the television screen and on our election night Web site that can be easily accessed from www.myetv.org.

Then at 9 p.m., Mark Quinn will host an hour-long special edition of The Big Picture, which will be carried on television, radio and streamed on the Web.

The program will feature reports from around the state, and break down the results from each race. Additionally, in-depth commentary on those results and their implications for the fall’s general election will be provided by:

· Scott Huffmon, director of both the Winthrop/ETV Poll initiative and the Social and Behavioral Research Laboratory at Winthrop University

· Adolphus Belk, political science and African-American studies professor at Winthrop University who helped shape the questions for last September’s groundbreaking Winthrop/ETV Poll of South Carolina’s African Americans

· Chip Felkel, CEO and senior political strategist of The Felkel Group

· Andy Brack, publisher of The Statehouse Report and principal member of The Brack Group

ETV is South Carolina’s statewide network with 11 television stations, eight radio stations and a closed-circuit educational telecommunications system in more than 2,000 schools, colleges, businesses and government agencies.
