Dawson announces delegates and alternates to the 2008 Republican National Convention

48 South Carolina delegates and alternates selected

COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina Republican Party Chairman Katon Dawson announced delegates and alternates from South Carolina to the 2008 Republican National Convention.  This delegation was selected at Republican Congressional District Conventions over the last two months and the 2008 South Carolina Republican Party State Convention held today in Columbia.  This delegation will represent all South Carolina Republicans at the 2008 Republican National Convention in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota in September.

“We are proud of the diverse group of Republican activists and leaders from across South Carolina selected to represent our state in Minneapolis,” said Dawson.  “We were grateful for their personal involvement as we made history in January with our historic 2008 First-in-the-South Republican Presidential Primary, and we look forward to traveling to Minneapolis where we will formally nominate John McCain to lead us to victory in November.”

The following people were selected delegates to the 2008 Republican National Convention: Glenn McCall of York, Henry McMaster of Richland, Andre Bauer of Charleston, Linda H. McCall of York, Bobby Harrell of Charleston, Richard Eckstrom of Lexington, Mark Hammond of Spartanburg, Mike Fair of Greenville, Tony Denny of Lexington, LaDonna Ryggs of Spartanburg, Roxanne Wilson of Lexington, Alan Clemmons of Horry, Mark Hartley of Charleston, Charm Altman of Charleston, Joe Wilson of Lexington, Jim Corbett of Richland, Dan Richardson of Greenwood, Bob Waldrep of Anderson, Wendy Nanney of Greenville, Samuel Harms of Greenville,  John Hunter of York, Drew Johnson of York, Joe Flowers of Colleton, and Moye Graham of Clarendon.
