Terry Brown, Kevin Hall to lead fundraising effort

COLUMBIA, SC – South Carolina Republican Party Chairman Katon Dawson today announced Terry S. Brown and Kevin A. Hall, both of Columbia, as Victory 2008 Finance Co-Chairmen.  Victory 2008 is the South Carolina Republican Party’s coordinated campaign effort to elect Republicans to local, state and federal office.

“We are extremely excited to welcome Terry Brown and Kevin Hall to the Victory team,” said Dawson.  “Over the years, Terry and Kevin have been leaders in their communities and demonstrated their commitment to the Republican Party.  Their hard work will enable us to spread our conservative message and will ensure that we have the financial resources needed to activate our network of volunteers and supporters who will work tirelessly to deliver South Carolina’s eight electoral votes to John McCain.”

Brown served on John McCain’s South Carolina finance team during the presidential primary as well as the finance teams of Senator Lindsey Graham and Senator Jim DeMint.  He is Chief Executive Officer of Edens & Avant, one of the nation’s leading private owners, operators and developers of neighborhood shopping centers.

Hall is legal counsel to the South Carolina Republican Party and was elected as an alternate delegate to the 2008 Republican National Committee in Minneapolis-St. Paul.  He is treasurer of Senator Lindsey Graham’s re-election campaign and worked on the campaigns of Governor Mark Sanford and Senator Jim DeMint. Hall is a partner at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough, LLP.
