Greedy TV lawyers ruining the business climate in SC

Are you tired of the commercials, billboards, and newspaper ads that are constantly promoting lawsuits against SC businesses? These greedy TV lawyers are ruining the business climate in South Carolina.
In a recent US Chamber survey, South Carolina had the 7th worst lawsuit climate in the nation causing us to lose investment and jobs. No business wants to locate where they will be harassed with predatory lawsuits filed by greedy TV lawyers.
Had Enough?
Mississippi recently enacted laws to protect their doctors from lottery-like awards resulting in their largest medical liability insurer reducing rates by 20% in 2009. In 2005, South Carolina passed a law providing similar protection for SC doctors, and as a result claims are down 30%.
We believe our small businesses deserve this same protection from extreme awards for these non-economic claims.

Yes, I agree. I have seen a barage of commercials directed towards suing the trucking companies. I consider these lawyers leaches. Their commercials make me sick.
