COLUMBIA, SC – Conservative Republican Curtis Loftis will formally kick off his reform minded campaign for State Treasurer on Wednesday, March 31, it was announced today.

Loftis will launch his campaign with a statewide two day bus tour which includes stops in Myrtle Beach, Charleston, Greenville, Spartanburg, and Columbia.

“I’m proud to say I’m not a career politician and never will be,” wrote Loftis in a letter sent to voters across the state.

“As a taxpayer and as a citizen who loves South Carolina and cares deeply about our future, I am outraged,” continued Loftis.

“After much thought, prayer and consideration, I decided I can no longer sit by and watch politicians continue to abuse the public trust without facing any consequences for their misdeeds. That is why I have decided to run as a conservative Republican reformer for the office of State Treasurer,” concluded Loftis.
