On April 22 (11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.), Santee Cooper and The Citadel will host The Free Enterprise Foundation’s Annual Ethics and Civic Responsibility Luncheon at The Citadel’s Holliday Alumni Center. Featuring a keynote address provided by Ayn Rand Institute Executive Director Yaron Brook, this year’s event will honor the examples of civic, corporate, philanthropic, and educational leadership provided by S.C. State Senator Paul G. Campbell, Jr., Evening Post Publishing Company Chairman Pierre Manigault, Piggly Wiggly Carolina Company Immediate Past Chairman Burton R. Schools, and Trident Technical College President Dr. Mary Thornley.
“Ethics, civic responsibility, and leadership are important to our Lowcountry community, and we are proud to honor these local leaders,” said Robert E. Freer, Jr., president and founder of The Free Enterprise Foundation.
