The Greenville Tea Party held a Straw Poll to determine the preferences of its 700 members for Lt. Governor and for US Congress in District 4. The Poll was taken by written secret ballot at the regular meeting Monday April 12, 2010 at the Hughes Library, downtown Greenville, SC. The Results were as follows:

For Lt. Governor:

LT. Col Bill Connor                            96%

Commissioner Ken Ard                      04%

For US Congress, District 4

Dr. Christina Jeffrey                           55.6%

Solicitor Trey Gowdy                         22.2%

Mr. Jim Lee                                         14.8%

Sen. David Thomas                             03.7%

Hon. Bob Ingles (I)                             03.7%

    Notice there is no mention of how many people voted. There could have been as little 20 people. Why won’t Dean crazy Allen tell us how many people were there. If you think Jeffrey will even get 5% of the vote then you are crazy.

    Whether there were 200 or 20 doesn’t make a lot of difference. The Greenville Tea Party group is a strong group even with RGQ trying to lead them and others astray. If they would remove RGQ their membership would probably triple or more.
