“Patriot Talk” will focus on current political issues and how government decisions being made in Washington impact our lives here in South Carolina. SCD5 Patriot members Swain Sheppard and Will Stallings will join me in hosting this conservative talk show each week until the November election. We will also feature guest hosts from time to time. We will interview politicians, experts on current issues, as well as Tea Party members throughout the the 5th District and the state to help us get to the facts on the issues that our nation is facing.
On tomorrow’s show we will be discussing immigration reform. We will talk with Rowena Booker of the South Carolina Black Conservative Movement who will be in Columbia at the State Capitol grounds preparing for the Anti-Illegal Immigration Rally tomorrow at 10:00 AM. The Rally focus is on immigration reform, supporting Arizona’s recent Bill on immigration enforcement, and specifically a Bill in the South Carolina State Senate (S1446) that will allow law enforcement officials to ask for proof of citizenship status of a person who is suspected of committing a crime is also suspected of being in the United States illegally. We hope to also get the opportunity to interview Congressional Candidates Tim Scott and Jim Pratt who will be featured speakers at the event, as well as Senator Larry Grooms who sponsored the SC Senate Bill.
